This offering is a beautifully balanced washed coffee from the town of San Pablo in Peru’s Huabal District, nestled high in the Cajamarca region. Sourced from a group of small-holder farmers cultivating less than two hectares each, this lot reflects the care and consistency of the region. Grown around 1,980 meters and featuring classic cultivars like Bourbon, Caturra, Castillo, and Typica, the coffee is fully washed and slowly sun-dried, resulting in a clean cup with layered sweetness and surprising depth.

 

This coffee is incredibly versatile and shines across a range of brew methods. It’s especially enjoyable as a pour-over or drip coffee, where its balance and sweetness come forward, but it also makes a rich and expressive single origin espresso with a silky body and complex finish.
